How to Block ads on HTC Desire X

When you play games, or watch the news by HTC Desire X, Suddenly, there was a pop up ad block your view, you will feel very angry.
There is a way one can block these ads on your HTC Desire X.

The first,“ROOT” is required to block ads on HTC Desire X. This means that your phone has to be rooted. Unfortunately in today’s market there are lots of phones with the Android OS. Each phone has a different method of rooting.

1.
Adblock Plus is an Android app that runs in the background and filters ads, using the same filter lists as the Adblock Plus browser extensions. It works on Android version 2.1 and higher.
Because Android’s support for traffic filtering is limited, Adblock Plus uses several approaches, automatically selecting the best one for the device:

If HTC Desire X is rooted, Adblock Plus will filter all web traffic out of the box.
If non-rooted devices running Android 4.1.2, 4.2.1 and higher, Adblock Plus will filter all WiFi traffic, but it needs to be configured as a proxy server manually. Detailed instructions are provided by Adblock Plus for not experienced users.
If non-rooted devices running Android 3.1 and higher, Adblock Plus will filter all WiFi traffic out of the box.
If non-rooted devices running Android 3.0 and older, Adblock Plus needs to be configured as a proxy server manually. Some devices do not support proxy configuration, and Adblock Plus does not work on those.
Note:Adblock Plus not on the Google Play store

There are a few options that we can help you.

Go to the “Play Store” and download an app called, “Titanium Backup.” It is the best one out there and most of the American source writers use this app. If you already have the APK (Android Application Package) just back it up directly on your phone, by using titanium backup and copying and pasting the apk file in a folder of your choice. It will usually be found in either your system/app or data/app folder from the root of your internal storage, unless you save apps to the SD card.
While option number 1 is great, you won’t be getting anymore updates for the apps. That could be a problem in the long run as it could slow down your HTC Desire X running outdated apps. The solution to this problem is to download one of the following standalone ad blocking apps either AdAway or AdBlock Plus. My personal choice is AdAway but they are both free in the Play store.

3.
Change your HTC Desire X web browser’s settings. Unfortunately, however, not all web browsers support Block ads.
