1.Return to the Android Home Screen by pressing the “Home” or center button on your
Samsung Galaxy Beam.
2.Tap the “Menu” button, and then select the “Settings” option to open the
Samsung Galaxy Beam “Settings” menu.
3.Scroll to and touch the “Language and Input” settings option.
4.Press the “Default” option to open a dialog box with the two keyboards listed.If you download and install a keyboard from Google Play, the keyboard will show up along with the two default keyboards in the “Keyboard” dialog box.
5.Select the “
Samsung Galaxy Beam” Keyboard option to set the standard keyboard, or select the “Swype” option to enable the Swype keyboard. You can select the third-party keyboards you want to use.
6.Press the gear icon next to the selected keyboard to change keyboard options.Activate a mode of text entry or open the custom keyboard app to bring up the configuration menu. Follow the onscreen instructions to configure the app’s appearance and features options.
7.Click the “Back” option to save the keyboard configuration.
